Big Pi VenturesCheck size: Growth-fund level: Big Pi Growth I states that it leads with €7M–€20M+ per company. Panos focuses on Series B+ growth investments; the published fund range is not a guarantee of his personal allocation authority for any deal.
Panos leads growth investments in European technology companies that already show category leadership and can use €7M–€20M+ plus active operating support to scale internationally. His recent work emphasizes InfraTech and Physical AI at the intersection of innovative technology and real infrastructure, where proprietary systems, strong customer ROI, global deployments, and Southeast European operating hubs can create durable scale advantages.
Category-leading European scale-ups with proven customer ROI, strong platforms and operations, international demand, proprietary technology, and the ability to use hands-on capital, M&A expertise, and regional operating hubs to accelerate market leadership. He has called growth investing at the intersection of technology and real infrastructure a personal focus.
No personal pass list is public. The Growth I strategy implies weaker fit below Series B maturity, for companies without tangible operational scalability or international expansion potential, businesses lacking a defensible technology core, and capital plans that do not connect to measurable organic growth, M&A, or efficiency gains.
Present a Series B+ case with category position, revenue quality, customer ROI, deployment evidence, margins, retention, operational scalability, and a detailed international plan. For infrastructure or robotics, quantify project-time savings, labor and safety improvements, fleet economics, manufacturing capacity, field reliability, and proprietary software or navigation. Map exactly how the growth round and possible M&A create market leadership.
Translate technical capability into infrastructure outcomes—project duration, accuracy, capacity, labor scarcity, safety, cost, and global deployment—then test whether the platform and operating model scale across sites and adjacent workflows.
Connect a proven category position to the next leadership threshold through international expansion, platform scalability, operating-hub efficiency, governance, capital structure, and a defined split between organic investment and M&A.
Autonomous robot fleets can remove a critical data-center construction bottleneck when patented navigation, fleet coordination, field reliability, and strong ROI meet global infrastructure demand.
A lead-investor strategy with €7M–€20M+ tickets can help European scale-ups bridge the gap to market leadership through international expansion, operational improvement, and M&A.
A scaled digital-health platform can use proprietary technology and data to integrate clinical guidance, medication, diagnostics, and coaching while expanding conditions, patient relationships, and geographies.
