Investment Manager
Maki.vc (Web3)Check size: Maki's sweet spot is first rounds below EUR 5 million; this describes the firm's target round, not Wilson's personal authority. He sources and evaluates opportunities within that day-zero mandate.
Wilson sources and evaluates Nordic first-round opportunities across Maki's sector-agnostic mandate, with a research-driven lens and responsibility for ESG development. His first publicly attributed 2026 investment highlights critical deep-tech infrastructure: technically defensible systems addressing a rapidly worsening physical-world problem, with government and commercial customers and a concrete path from development into operational proof.
Ambitious founders reshaping industries with bold ideas and new technology, deep domain expertise, infrastructure that customers increasingly depend on, widening gaps between legacy capabilities and real operational needs, measurable technical performance, sustainable long-term advantage, and hands-on collaboration through the full investment lifecycle.
No personal pass list is published. His role and attributed investment imply weaker fit for research without an execution plan, technology without a specific customer need, unsupported ESG claims, local-only ambition, and infrastructure unable to prove performance in real operations. These are inferred filters.
Bring a research-quality market and technical case: the urgent operational gap, founder expertise, architecture, benchmarks, IP, customer discovery, commercialization, and milestone budget. Show how the first round below EUR 5M reaches an MVP or field proof, how ESG risks and benefits are measured, and why Nordic technical advantage can translate into global infrastructure.
Quantify how quickly the real-world need is worsening, where current systems fail, who bears the cost, and which performance threshold triggers customer adoption.
Tie the first-round budget to an MVP, benchmark, field deployment, first customer, certification, and the specific evidence required for the next financing.
Identify sector-specific environmental, social, governance, safety, security, and reputational risks; define measurable benefits and mitigation ownership without relying on generic ESG claims.
Rapid satellite growth creates a widening orbital-safety gap that a deeply expert team can address with precise laser tracking and globally important decision infrastructure.
